Product Description
This insert not only provides consistent ball speed but also generates more forward spin.
The Ai-DUAL insert features a complex, winding shape at the boundary between the two resin layers, similar to the underside of the Ai-ONE insert. This design, developed by AI, focuses not only on the stable ball speed regardless of where the ball is struck, as seen in the Ai-ONE insert, but also on the spin imparted to the ball. Generally, due to the gear effect, a ball struck on the upper part of the face tends to have forward spin, while a strike on the lower part tends to have backspin. Naturally, this also affects the distance the ball rolls. The Ai-DUAL insert is designed to consistently impart forward spin regardless of where the ball is hit, whether on the upper or lower part of the face. Furthermore, because the lower part of the insert forms the same surface as the sole, the distinctive shape between the two resin layers, created by AI, can be seen more directly than in the Ai-ONE putter, which has a transparent polycarbonate window.

The grooves, which have an isosceles triangle-like cross-section, also contribute to the smooth rolling action due to forward spin.
The Ai-DUAL insert also features newly adopted grooves, the F.R.D (Forward Roll Design) grooves, which contribute to its smooth roll. Unlike the wave-like cross-section of the Ai-ONE insert, it has a unique shape consisting of a series of right-angled triangular indentations. The part that makes contact with the ball is angled at 19 degrees relative to the vertical.

The ball speed stability and high-quality forward spin are cutting edge. The behavior and design are standard.
The Ai-DUAL putter combines Odyssey's most popular head with the newly developed Ai-DUAL insert. Like the Ai-ONE insert, it maintains ball speed stability even on off-center hits, while generating more forward spin (clockwise rotation) than previous models, regardless of impact location. By reducing the impact of turf grain and slope, you can aim for the cup with a thinner line (meaning less curvature). ■ Two types of urethane resin: a soft surface that strikes the ball and a hard interior: Unlike the Ai-ONE insert and Ai-ONE Titanium insert, this insert is made entirely of urethane resin, featuring a two-layer structure with a soft resin surface and a hard resin interior. ■ An insert that not only stabilizes ball speed but also generates more forward spin: The boundary between the two resin layers of the Ai-DUAL insert has a complex, winding shape, similar to the back of the Ai-ONE insert. This insert was developed by AI with a focus on not only providing the same performance as the Ai-ONE insert, which maintains consistent ball speed no matter where you hit it, but also on the spin it imparts to the ball. ■The grooves, shaped like an isosceles triangle, also contribute to a good roll through forward spin: The Ai-DUAL insert's newly adopted FRD (Forward Roll Design) grooves also contribute to a good roll. ■Realizes a feel and sound closer to the WHITEHOT insert: The Ai-DUAL insert is made entirely of urethane resin, so it has a softer feel and is designed to produce a sound closer to the WHITEHOT insert than the Ai-ONE insert. ■There are six types in the lineup, and customization is also available.
