This evolved performance, "just as you imagined," will help you improve your score. ■ Improved "Speed & Spin Control Technology" The fundamental performance of tour balls—flight and stopping—has been further improved. Driver shots feature high initial velocity and low spin, providing wind resistance and delivering the ball exactly as you imagined. Approach shots feature low initial velocity and high spin, allowing you to land the ball exactly as you imagined. ■ Why you can "deliver" the ball exactly as you imagined: A new chemical compound is incorporated into the core for increased durability. This allows us to exceed design limits and incorporate the most rigid inner cover in Bridgestone history. This delivers even higher initial velocity and lower spin on full shots. The synergistic effect of the ST inner cover and ST hydrocore delivers a powerful trajectory (high initial velocity and low spin). ■Why it "gets closer" as expected: The Reactive iQ urethane cover and Slipless Bite Coating, both popular in the previous model, maintain the "ride feel" and "deep feel" in the approach area sought after by Tiger Woods and many other pros. ■High Rigidity & High MOI: The ball is made higher by incorporating inorganic fillers into the inner cover, increasing its specific gravity. The high rigidity and high MOI of the inner cover stabilize the spin rate on iron shots, leading to consistent vertical distance. Furthermore, the high MOI contributes to good roll during putting. ■Cover Durability: Scratches on the ball are an important "performance" factor, as they can affect distance and swerve. By using a special urethane material, we have achieved extremely high cover durability. ■Improved Performance: The 3-piece urethane cover structure pursues "carrying" and "getting closer."
