■Soft feel unique to forged soft iron. The P8CB also uses the same TaylorMade-exclusive processing technology, Compact Grain Forging, as the P7CB. High-purity S25C soft iron is carefully forged five times using a 2,000-ton press, more than twice the pressure of conventional manufacturing, to form a precise structure with high internal density, resulting in the soft feel unique to forged soft iron. Furthermore, by increasing the mass of the back of the head, the sense of unity with the impact is further improved.
■A sophisticated head shape and a head design that inspires confidence. The tour head shape that every golfer aspires to is combined with the longest blade length in the P series (80mm) to create a head size that inspires confidence. Furthermore, a ceramic core built into the center of the head reduces weight, and excess weight is optimally distributed to the outer periphery of the back of the head, further increasing forgiveness and reducing head wobble on off-center hits.
■Clear release from any lie. The Speed Sole Design, consisting of a midsole with optimized bounce, a gently curved leading edge that accommodates various angles of attack, and a trailing edge with reduced contact area with the ground, ensures excellent release from any lie.
