VERSA alignment, introduced in 2013, differs from conventional alignments, which are aligned along a line relative to the target, by placing black and white stripes parallel to the face. This white-and-black contrast makes it easier to align the face perpendicular to the target than other alignments. According to Odyssey's Putt Lab research, approximately 70% of golfers fail to properly align the face relative to the target. Furthermore, a one-degree tilt in the face angle from the correct position results in a target 53.1 mm off-center at a distance of 3 meters. VERSA alignment is a groundbreaking alignment system that minimizes these mistakes. ■ Revised width and other features make it easier to set up. Of course, the revival of VERSA alignment does not simply adopt the previous system. It has been further improved to make it easier to set up correctly. First, the thickness of the black and white bands has been revised, making the white band thicker, which makes it easier to see the tilt of the face. The width of the band has also been adjusted to match the width of the top blade. Each head type has an optimal VERSA alignment balance of black and white contrast. ■ The head achieves a shallow center of gravity and high moment of inertia. While the VERSA alignment is new, the heads that incorporate it also incorporate the latest technology. Sole weights (approximately 15g of tungsten for the STROKE LAB shaft model and approximately 10g of stainless steel for the steel shaft model, which has a different specific gravity from the head material) that were not available in previous models are located at the toe and heel, closer to the face. These putters include the "ONE" with a conventional blade and crank hosel; the "DOUBLE WIDE" with a wide blade and double-bent neck; the "THREE T" with a compact mallet-type short-slant neck similar to the TOULON ATLANTA putter; the "SEVEN" with the popular horn-shaped back flange for VERSA alignment; and the newly released "TWELVE." Each putter is available in multiple neck styles: the "SEVEN" comes in two styles: double bent and short slant; and the "TWELVE" comes in three styles: double bent, short slant, and center shaft.
