Product Description

The decrease in ball speed is dramatically small!
One of the problems in putting is the decrease in ball speed when the ball is hit off-center. There is data showing that a 1cm shift in the point of impact to the toe or heel reduces ball speed by about 20%, which would mean coming 2m short on a 10m putt. Callaway has introduced AI design, which has already achieved great results with its face technology, to develop an insert that limits the decrease in ball speed to about 5% (50cm for a 10m putt) even if the point of impact is off by 1cm.

Similar feel to White Hot Inserts
The insert in the "Ai-ONE Putter" consists of an aluminum section with complex ridges designed by AI and a resin section on the impact surface. The resin face has grooves, which are a treatment to approximate the feel and sound of the White Hot insert, and the actual feel is at the same level as the White Hot insert.

You can see the shape of the back through the polycarbonate window!
Each head of the "Ai-ONE Putter" incorporates a treatment that allows you to enjoy the technological differences in a way not seen in previous clubs or putters. A transparent polycarbonate window is installed on the back face of the blade type and on the sole of the mallet type. Through this window, you can see the complex AI-designed ridges formed on the back of the insert.

The hot topic! Introducing the AI-designed putter. ■Dramatically reduces ball speed loss! One of the problems with putting is the loss of ball speed when hitting off-center. Data suggests that a 1cm deviation in impact point toward the toe or heel reduces ball speed by approximately 20%, meaning that on a 10-meter putt, the putt will be 2 meters shorter. To address this issue, Odyssey has introduced a new AI design, already proven in Callaway face technology. Even with a 1cm deviation in impact point, the new "Ai-ONE" putter has been developed, minimizing ball speed loss to approximately 5% (50cm over 10 meters). ■Same feel as the White Hot insert. The insert in the "Ai-ONE" putter consists of an aluminum section with complex ridges designed by AI and a resin section at the impact surface. The resin face features grooves designed to mimic the feel and sound of a White Hot insert, achieving a similar feel. The AI insert features a stainless steel body with a dark blue PVD finish. The head is finished in dark blue PVD. To enhance the moment of inertia, approximately 15g screw weights are installed in the toe and heel of the sole. Odyssey's proprietary STROKE LAB shaft has also been completely redesigned to match the newly developed steel STROKE LAB 90 shaft and Ai-ONE putter. While the previous model featured a steel and carbon composite shaft, tour players expressed a preference for a steel shaft, but also expressed a desire for the stability of a STROKE LAB shaft. The new STROKE LAB 90 shaft achieves a lightweight steel shaft weighing in at around 90g, while the butt section is the same thickness as the previous STROKE LAB shaft, reducing torque. This prevents unnecessary shaft movement during the stroke. A counterweight is also installed inside the shaft near the grip, increasing the moment of inertia of the entire putter during the stroke.
