The hot topic! Introducing the AI-designed putter. ■Dramatically minimizes ball speed loss! One of the problems in putting is the loss of ball speed when hitting off-center. Data suggests that a 1cm deviation in impact point toward the toe or heel reduces ball speed by approximately 20%, meaning that on a 10-meter putt, the putt will be 2 meters shorter. To address this issue, Odyssey has introduced a new AI design, already proven in Callaway's face technology. Even with a 1cm deviation in impact point, we developed an insert that reduces ball speed loss to approximately 5% (50cm on a 10-meter putt), resulting in the new Ai-ONE MILLED putter. ■6-4 titanium, developed through extensive testing. The insert in the Ai-ONE MILLED putter is crafted from 6-4 titanium. The back of the insert features complex AI-designed ridges, ensuring no significant loss of ball speed, even on off-center hits. ■The AI insert, with its bronze-gold color, is housed in a stainless steel body with a dark blue PVD finish. This body features approximately 10g of weighting at the toe and heel of the sole, as well as up to approximately 20g of tungsten at the toe and heel of the head (the amount varies depending on the head type). These treatments give the Ai-ONE MILLED putter a high MOI approaching that of a TRI-HOT 5K putter. ■Newly developed steel STROKE LAB 90 shaft: Odyssey's proprietary STROKE LAB shaft has also been completely redesigned. The previous model was a steel-carbon composite shaft, but tour players expressed preference for a steel shaft, but also expressed a desire for the stability of a STROKE LAB shaft. The new STROKE LAB 90 shaft is made of steel and weighs in at around 90g. By keeping the butt section the same thickness as the previous STROKE LAB shaft, torque is reduced, preventing unnecessary shaft movement during the stroke. Additionally, a counterweight is installed inside the shaft near the grip, increasing the moment of inertia of the entire putter during the stroke.
This is a groundbreaking putter that truly showcases how far technology has come! The Odyssey Ai-ONE series, developed using the latest AI technology, features an AI-designed plate on the back of the face, minimizing ball speed loss even on off-center hits.
