The second JAILBIRD-type putter joins the popular Ai-ONE Milled putter series, known for its solid feel. The second model featuring a JAILBIRD-type head has been added to the Ai-ONE Milled putter series. The "JAILBIRD MINI T VERSA90 DB" features the VERSA90 alignment design, featuring a ball-flying band, also seen on Ai-ONE putters. The toe and heel are navy, with a thick silver-with-a-gold colorway running between them. The key technology is the Ai-ONE Titanium Insert, designed by AI and crafted from 6-4 titanium in a bronze gold color. It maintains ball speed even on mishits and offers a more solid feel than the Ai-ONE insert, which uses resin. Two weights, approximately 10g each, are located in the toe and heel of the sole. Furthermore, the built-in tungsten weight provides the head with a very high moment of inertia. Combined with the low-torque STROKE LAB 90 shaft, this provides players with consistent, stable putting. [Features & Benefits] ■ Easy to set up and hit on target. The newly added "JAILBIRD MINI T VERSA90 DB" is the second model in the series to feature a JAILBIRD-type head. The JAILBIRD MINI T, released in November 2024, featured the traditional VERSA alignment, with silver and navy bands mixed with gold along the toe and heel. The "JAILBIRD MINI T VERSA90 DB" features a navy color on the toe and heel, with a thick silver band in the center, creating a new VERSA90 alignment. While previous models made it easy to check the square angle to the target, the VERSA90 makes it easier to set up and stroke accurately on target. ■ Minimal loss of ball speed even on mishits. The most notable feature of the Ai-ONE MILLED putter is the Ai-ONE Titanium Insert. One of the problems in putting is the loss of ball speed when hitting off-center. Data shows that a 1cm deviation in impact point to the toe or heel reduces ball speed by approximately 20%. In a 10-meter putt, this translates to a 2-meter shortfall. The Ai-ONE Titanium Insert was developed to solve this issue, minimizing the loss of ball speed to approximately 5% (50cm over 10 meters) even with a 1cm deviation in impact point. ■ Bronze-gold colored 6-4 titanium insert. As the name suggests, the Ai-ONE Titanium Insert is made of 6-4 titanium and finished in a bronze-gold color. The back features complex ridges designed by AI, ensuring that off-center hits do not significantly reduce ball speed. ■ Weighting inside and outside the head achieves a high moment of inertia. The Ai-ONE MILLED putter not only features approximately 10g of weights at the toe and heel of the sole, but also up to approximately 20g of tungsten at the toe and heel inside the head. These treatments give the Ai-ONE MILLED putter a very high moment of inertia, facilitating a stable stroke. ■Stroke Lab 90 shaft, made entirely of steel. Like the current model, the STROKE LAB 90 shaft continues to be used. Despite being made entirely of steel, it achieves a lightweight weight of around 90g, with a thicker butt section. By reducing torque, unnecessary shaft movement during the stroke is suppressed. A counterweight is also installed inside the shaft near the grip. Combined with the lightweight shaft, this increases the overall moment of inertia of the putter, providing players with a consistent, stable stroke. This additional model is available in a 34-inch length.
