The high MOI and deep CG maximize the automatic feel. The Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter series has been a huge hit since its release last year, thanks to its ease of producing straight strokes. Two new models have been added: the MAX 1, featuring a large, fan-like rear body, and the MAX STRIPE, featuring the same shape but with a thick white alignment bar. Compared to the already released #7, DOUBLE WIDE, and JAILBIRD, these putters feature the highest MOI and deep CG. Of course, the shaft is positioned at the center of gravity of the head, and the heel is heavier than the toe, resulting in toe-up balance and torqueless design. These two models deliver the most automatic, straight stroke feel of any putter in the series. They are paired with the STROKE LAB 90 shaft and are available in two lengths: 33 and 34 inches. [Features & Benefits] ■ Unique fan-like shape with a long body measuring approximately 10.7cm. The latest additions to the Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter lineup are the MAX 1 and MAX STRIPE, which feature a large fan-like rear head. This distinctive shape gives them the highest moment of inertia and deepest center of gravity among the current Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putters. The difference between the MAX 1 and MAX STRIPE is the presence or absence of a thick white line on the top surface. This head is extremely long, measuring approximately 10.7cm from the face to the rear, making the white line on the MAX STRIPE longer than previous alignment methods. ■ The sole weight is a long, slender type with circular ends. The Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter series features a higher loft, with the shaft tilted toward the target and positioned further away from the face to center the head's center of gravity. Thanks to these design features, when the Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter is gripped lightly and raised according to the lie angle, the head is less likely to rotate (torqueless), making it very easy to keep the toe facing up and the face square. In other words, it is a toe-up balanced putter. The new "MAX 1" and "MAX STRIPE" models feature sole weights of approximately 10g in both the heel and toe. Unlike the circular weights found in the Ai-ONE putter series, these weights feature a slender design with circular ends. ■ Head movement in or out is difficult. The toe-up balance of the Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter makes it easy to automatically pull the head straight and square, and also swing straight and square toward the target. In other words, the head is less likely to deviate from the target line, making it less likely to pull in or out. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the shaft is tilted toward the target, naturally leading to a hand-first stance, automatically achieving a low, long stroke. ■AI-designed insert reduces ball speed loss. The Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter, like the Ai-ONE putter, is equipped with the Ai-ONE insert. AI-designed to reduce ball speed loss even on off-center hits, combined with a torqueless design and a low, long, hand-first stroke, ensures stable putting. The MAX 1 and MAX STRIPE putters do not feature the polycarbonate window that reveals the AI-designed, complex ridges on the underside of the face. ■All-steel STROKE LAB 90 shaft. The Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter features the STROKE LAB 90 shaft, which is made entirely of steel yet weighs in at around 90g, with a thicker butt section. By reducing torque, it minimizes unnecessary shaft movement during the stroke. A counterweight is also installed inside the shaft near the grip. Combined with a lightweight shaft, this increases the putter's overall moment of inertia, providing players with a consistent, stable stroke.
