The Spider series now includes a new "zero torque" putter concept that allows for effortless putting strokes!
■Zero torque is now permitted. "SPIDER ZT" Putter
Eliminate hesitation and deviation. The Spider ZT Long putter, with its zero-torque design, is the longest, heaviest, and highest moment of inertia model in this lineup. Designed to deliver highly repeatable strokes with every putt, it offers unprecedented stability.
■ Further pursuit of the Spider's stability
The combination of a high-density 303 stainless steel front section and a low-density 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum back section creates a high moment of inertia structure. Precise center of gravity positioning and weight distribution further increase MOI, improving repeatability and stability during stroke.
■Zero Torque Pattern Design
The KBS shaft is inserted with a 1° tilt so that it is in a straight line with the center of gravity, and is offset 25mm behind the leading edge. This results in a toe-up balance, where the toe points upward, improving stability throughout the entire stroke.
■Improved sole camber
TaylorMade's club engineers have designed a newly improved "cambered sole" for the "Spider ZT" putter to accommodate a variety of player types. The curve of this sole works in conjunction with the hosel located towards the toe to support proper alignment. This makes it easier to accurately aim the face at the target at address.
■ Premium Milled True Path Alignment
"True Path Alignment" is a feature inherited from the early days of Spider putters, but it has been newly redesigned for the "Spider ZT" putter. The top of the 303 stainless steel face features a thin, precisely milled line the same width as a golf ball. This makes it easier to accurately position the putter behind the ball with each putt.
■ "Pure Roll" insert produces a soft sound and feel.
It features a "Pure Roll" insert made from a composite material of Surlyn and aluminum. The grooves, which are set downwards at a 45-degree angle, efficiently generate topspin and ensure a smooth roll.
