A grip that isn't angled allows for a natural stroke.
The grip fitted is the "S2S Reverse Taper 2.0 OS Grip," which has a triangular cross-section and gradually widens from the grip end towards the head end. This shape prevents unnecessary force from being applied to the right hand when using a normal grip with the right hand towards the head, enabling a more automatic stroke. In addition, the way the shaft is inserted is unique, with the shaft passing diagonally through the grip. As a result, when addressing the ball, the grip does not appear to be tilted like a shaft, and it can be held at an angle similar to a typical putter. Zero-torque putters have the shaft mounted at an angle from the center of gravity of the head towards the target line, resulting in a considerable hand-forward position, which many players found difficult to stroke. However, this grip mounting method makes the zero-torque putter easier to handle.
The surface that hits the ball is soft, while the inside is hard, made of two types of urethane resin.
As the name "Ai-DUAL Insert" suggests, the insert was designed by AI. However, unlike the Ai-ONE Insert and Ai-ONE Titanium Insert, it is made solely from urethane resin and has a two-layer structure: a soft resin on the surface that strikes the ball and a hard resin on the inside. The "DUAL" in the putter name refers to this two-layer structure of the insert, hence the name "Ai-DUAL Insert".
It produces not only consistent ball speed but also high-quality forward spin.
The "Ai-DUAL insert" features an uneven and complex, winding cross-section at the boundary between its two layers of resin. The newly adopted F.R.D (Forward Roll Design) grooves ensure stable ball speed even on off-center hits, and the AI-developed insert focuses on the spin imparted to the ball. Generally, hitting the ball on the upper part of the face tends to impart forward spin, while hitting the lower part tends to impart backspin, which naturally affects the distance the ball rolls. The "Ai-DUAL insert" ensures consistent forward spin regardless of the impact point, creating a roll that is less affected by slopes and grass grain, and more likely to follow the intended line. Furthermore, the newly adopted F.R.D (Forward Roll Design) grooves are positioned 19° from the face, and unlike the wave-like shape of the Ai-ONE insert, their unique shape, consisting of a series of right-angled triangular indentations, generates forward spin.

The new Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square Putter features the Ai-DUAL insert, which combines two types of urethane resin with varying hardness and a complex, uneven curve, and features New F.RD (Forward Roll Design) grooves. Like the Ai-ONE insert, it not only resists ball speed loss even on off-center hits, but is also designed to consistently generate forward spin regardless of impact location. ■ Two types of urethane resin: a soft surface and a hard interior: As the "Ai" in its name suggests, the Ai-DUAL insert was designed by AI.
