The "TRTL Putter," as its name suggests, is a model developed with the "TURTLE" as its motif. It features a unique design where the hexagon in the center of the head is likened to the "shell" and the surrounding parts to the "legs," achieving high moment of inertia in all directions to minimize deviation on mishits. Like a turtle moving slowly and powerfully, it enables a stable and consistent stroke tempo. The head size is neither too big nor too small, the same as the "JAILBIRD MINI," and it also has just the right amount of maneuverability. This exquisite type, the first from Odyssey since the TEN series in 2021, is a long-awaited addition that fills a gap in the current lineup. It has the potential to become the "fifth iconic mallet," following ROSSIE, 2-BALL, #7, and JAILBIRD. High moment of inertia achieved through materials and sole weight.
The high moment of inertia of the "TRTL Putter" is achieved through the optimal placement of head materials and four weights mounted on the sole. The head design expresses the "turtle-like" characteristics along with functionality, with a hexagonal design in the center that resembles a shell. In order to achieve a high moment of inertia, it is important to place as much weight as possible on the outer edge of the head, so lightweight materials are used for the central hexagonal section and the sole plate. On the other hand, stainless steel is placed on the outer edge, which resembles the limbs, making the outside of the head heavier and achieving high stability. Furthermore, the hexagonal shape, which is structurally superior in strength, is adopted for the central section where lightweight materials are used in order to increase durability and rigidity. In addition, four sole weights are installed at the four corners, a first for ODYSSEY. By placing two heavy weights at the rear and two light weights at the front, a high moment of inertia design is achieved through a deep center of gravity, achieving a high level of balance between stability and operability. The weight distribution extending to the four corners not only enhances performance but also serves as an iconic design element unique to TRTL putters, reminiscent of a turtle's limbs. While the standard configuration features two heavier weights at the rear and two lighter weights at the front, the weight positions can be swapped to adjust the center of gravity characteristics to a slightly shallower (for ease of use), heel-biased (for players prone to pushing the ball to the right), or toe-biased (for blade users).

The "TRTL Putter" aims to make it easier to naturally align with the target the moment you address the ball, and subtle improvements have been made to the sole shape and alignment design. The sole has less curvature than before, making it more stable when it touches the ground. The face is less likely to open unnecessarily, and it is designed to make it easier for the player to set up square without thinking about it. In particular, the effect is more pronounced when the green conditions are hard and fast, and it supports a stable setup even on tour-level fast greens. In addition, the distinctive DUAL TRACK alignment improves visibility toward the target direction by extending two thick lines from the face to the back of the head. Combined with the stable sitting, it results in a head design that is very easy to set up. Furthermore, the intersection point of the two diagonal lines on the face side that enter the hexagonal design in the center of the body and the extension of the DUAL TRACK center line is designed to pass just above the center of the ball when set, making it easier to naturally align your eyes and face direction. The top blade has also been cleverly designed, not being completely flat, but with a slight curve from heel to toe. This minimizes changes in appearance caused by lie angle and slope, making it easier to set up with a consistently stable visual image.
With a less rounded sole, you can sit in a square position.
The clubface is less rounded than before, providing greater stability when the club touches the ground. This design makes it less likely for the face to open unnecessarily, allowing players to set up squarely without consciously thinking about it. It is especially effective on hard and fast greens, enabling a stable setup even on tour-level fast greens.
Stable rolling and powerful feel
Ai-STAR insert for high initial velocity
The "TRTL Putter" features a newly developed Ai-STAR insert. The Ai-STAR insert inherits the performance of the Ai-DUAL insert, which has a two-layer structure combining two types of resin with different hardnesses, by "promoting forward spin even on mishits and producing a stable roll," while further evolving the feel performance. In addition to a firmer feel and a higher, more pleasant sound, it achieves the characteristic of generating solid ball speed even with a smooth stroke by increasing the Impact Ratio (ball initial velocity efficiency relative to head speed). To achieve this performance, the Ai-STAR insert follows the structure of the original Ai-ONE insert, which combines resin on the surface and aluminum on the back. It achieves a high level of balance between a soft feel and energy transfer performance.

The high moment of inertia putter's characteristic behavior, which produces a relaxed tempo and stable stroke, mirrors the slow, powerful movement of a turtle. Even on mishits, the head movement remains stable, leading to a consistent roll.

The TRTL putter lineup consists of three head types: the TRTL DB with a double-bend neck, the TRTL CH with a crank hosel, and the TRTL S with a short slant neck. All three heads are fitted with a STROKE LAB shaft, which has low torque and increases the overall moment of inertia of the putter, and weighs in the 90g range. The TRTL DB is available in 32, 33, and 34 inches, while the TRTL CH and TRTL S are available in 33 and 34 inches.
