Applying Balance Up will slightly shift the center of gravity, but even with 10g, the shift is only about 1mm, which is very slight. Therefore, while the change in center of gravity itself is small, it will have a noticeable impact on the club's behavior. Start by applying a generous amount and gradually reduce the amount to check the changes and tune it to suit your needs. Applying lead to the club head will not only affect swing balance, but also slightly change the vibration frequency (CPM, a unit of vibrations per minute that represents the number of times the shaft vibrates). Applying one sheet/5g to Driver will reduce the vibration frequency by about 2-4 CPM, which will numerically shift the shaft slightly toward a softer feel. Applying too much lead can make the club head feel heavy and cause a late swing.
