The best-selling spikeless shoe in Japan, the Code Chaos series, has undergone a full redesign for the first time in two years. Developed to deliver the highest level of tour spikeless performance, the Code Chaos 25 further elevates all of the performance of its predecessor, the Code Chaos 22. Its greatest feature is its grip, which is approximately 40% better than its predecessor. The all-new, evolved TWISTGRIP design now covers 100% of the sole, up from a partial outsole in the previous model. The shape, number, and placement of the lugs have been completely revised. In addition to the unique Code Chaos feel of integrating the entire sole with the ground, the new design adds a sharp, grippy feel. This represents the highest level of grip in a spikeless shoe in adidas Golf history. The midsole utilizes a hybrid structure combining the company's proprietary high-performance cushioning material, BOOST, with LIGHTSTRIKE, a first for the series. While retaining the comfortable cushioning of the previous Code Chaos, the new design delivers powerful rebound and stability during swings, unlike the previous model, for a truly dynamic performance. The upper is made of a new material, the udon knit upper, which offers a whole new sensation of comfort and performance. As the name suggests, a chewy fibrous material shaped like udon noodles is sandwiched inside the upper, allowing the upper to contain more air than regular knits, resulting in a soft, comfortable fit, almost like a built-in pillow. Additionally, the unique properties of the material, while offering excellent stretch in one direction, mean it doesn't stretch in the other, improving mobility and comfort when walking compared to previous models, while also improving support by not stretching in one direction. The entire upper is covered with a thin PU film, which adjusts the upper's stretch while also boasting high water resistance.
