The hugely popular X HOT series from 2013 is back, now in an improved package set with a luxurious and stylish golf bag. The lineup includes 10 clubs, each with a name that suggests incredible distance, all in the original US color scheme. In addition, the set features the EYE TRAX #7 putter, released in 2020. With a total of 11 clubs, this set is suitable not only for beginners and novices, but also for intermediate and advanced golfers. X HOT is the name of a popular series that was a huge hit in 2013, and the products at the time attracted many users, from professionals to amateurs. This time, the design has been renewed as a package set, and it includes Driver with a 10.5 degree loft and the current adjustable hosel, a 19.0 degree fairway wood #5, and a 25.0 degree utility 5H. The coloring is all based on the US specifications from 2013, and the matte gray base color with white and red accents makes for a very stylish design.
The set includes seven large-headed X HOT irons: #6-9, PW, AW, and SW. These irons feature a cavity back design, moderate offset, and a wider sole, offering advantages such as a sense of security at address, ease of getting the ball airborne, ease of square impact, and forgiveness for fat shots. The coloring is also the same as the US specification from 2013.
The putter included in the "X HOT Package Set" is the #7 EYE TRAX putter. The EYE TRAX putter is characterized by its all-black head with two thick white alignment lines and a red dot between them. The clear contrast of black and white, along with the red dot, makes it easy to set up and stroke accurately towards the target. The #7 model has a shape with two horns protruding from the rear, making it a popular head type that helps stabilize the stroke trajectory. What's particularly noteworthy about this new setup is that it prioritizes ease of use more than previous package sets. Compared to the WARBIRD package set (10 clubs) released in 2019, the difficult I#5 has been replaced with a 5H, which makes it easier to consistently hit the ball at a consistent distance, and an AW has been added to give more flexibility in club selection around the green, resulting in a total of 11 clubs. It can be said that this set has been made more user-friendly for navigating the course.
Also noteworthy are the headcovers and golf bag that come as a set with the clubs. The headcovers for Driver, fairway woods, and utilities are not the original 2013 designs, but newly designed and manufactured. The golf bag is 9 inches in size and has a luxurious finish thanks to the generous use of PU material and the textured pattern on the main fabric. Both the bag and the headcovers are color-coordinated with the clubs, featuring a black base color with red and white accents, giving them a very sharp and sophisticated look.
