Product Description
Four years have passed since the ST series was launched.
After a global development process, they arrived at a new flight technology called "CORTECH CHAMBER."
The integrated stainless steel core with TPU parts improves rebound performance*1, enabling greater distance*2.
Driver that stands shoulder to shoulder with Mizuno's iconic irons has finally been completed.
*1, *2 Compared to conventional products. Effects and perceptions may vary from person to person.
Mizuno's unique new function, "Coretech Chamber," further pursues ball speed.
The "Coretech Chamber" is a technology that improves resilience by using a stainless steel core molded integrally with urethane resin.
The impact between the club head and the ball causes the iron core stainless steel, which is integrally molded with urethane resin, to gain momentum in the direction of the ball's flight path, thereby improving ball speed and pursuing maximum distance performance.

Coretech Chamber's Flight Mechanism
At the moment of impact, the club head experiences a force in the opposite direction to the ball's trajectory, but the stainless steel core is subject to inertial forces that push it forward in the direction of its trajectory. This inertial force, combined with the club head's counter-force pushing the ball back, amplifies the ball's speed.
[Specific example: train]
When a train brakes, a force is applied that slows it down in the opposite direction of travel. However, due to inertia, passengers tend to continue moving in the direction of travel. If we apply this to the Coretech Chamber, the train is the entire head, and the passengers are the stainless steel core.

It uses forged β titanium, a high initial velocity material.
The face material uses "Forged β Titanium Alloy (2041Ti)," which has approximately 17% higher strength and approximately 8% greater flexibility compared to general titanium alloy (6Al-4V).

Coretech Face with enhanced rebound performance
On the back of the forged β titanium face, a precision-forged New Coretech face is employed to deliver high rebound performance at the rule limit over a wide area. This Mizuno-exclusive face thickness design amplifies face flex by making the center of the face thicker and the periphery even thinner.

"X" for draw bias, "Z" for straightness.
ST-X 230
The ST-X 230 features a draw-biased design that makes it easier to rotate the clubhead by adding weight to the heel side (the X-axis direction) while placing more carbon on the toe side.

ST-Z 230
The ST-Z 230 adds weight to the Z-axis direction, or the back side, while evenly distributing the carbon throughout to deepen the center of gravity and increase the moment of inertia.

Iron core flight. Mizuno ST230. Equipped with the new "CORTECH CHAMBER" function. High initial velocity, low spin, and draw bias. ST-X 230 Driver: ■ Mizuno's unique new "CORTECH CHAMBER" further enhances ball initial velocity. "CORTECH CHAMBER" is a technology that improves repulsion by using a stainless steel core molded integrally with urethane resin. When the head and ball collide, the stainless steel core, molded integrally with urethane resin, gains momentum in the direction of the ball's flight, improving initial velocity and achieving greater distance. ■ Featured: Forged β Titanium, a high-initial-velocity material. The face material is "Forged β Titanium Alloy (2041Ti)," which is approximately 17% stronger and approximately 8% more flexible than standard titanium alloys (6Al-4V). ■ CORTECH Face for enhanced repulsion performance. Behind the forged β Titanium face is a precision-forged New CORTECH Face, delivering high repulsion performance at the limit of the rules over a wide range. Mizuno's unique face thickness design amplifies face flex by making the center of the face thicker and the periphery thinner. ■ "Z" for straightness and "X" for draw bias. The ST-Z 230 adds weight to the back of the face in the Z axis, while the carbon is evenly and balanced throughout to deepen the center of gravity and increase the moment of inertia. The ST-X 230 adds weight to the heel of the face in the X axis, while placing more carbon on the toe, for a draw bias design that facilitates head return. ■ Quick Switch. The "Quick Switch" design allows you to adjust the loft and lie angle to suit your swing and desired trajectory. [Regarding the Rules of Golf] Please note that changing the loft or lie angle during a round is a violation of the Rules of Golf.
