The "X FORGED irons," a popular model known for its single-piece soft iron forging, have been revamped two years after their debut in 2024. The most notable change is the switch in material from S20C to S15C.
■The smaller the numbers, the softer the feeling than ever before.
The smaller the number, the softer the shaft. S15C has a lower hardness, resulting in a softer feel and sound compared to its predecessor, making it very pleasant to use.
■As the loft increases, the blade length also shortens by a certain percentage.
While the compact head and thin, sharp topline favored by professionals and advanced players are still present, the blade length has been reduced as the loft increases, visually conveying a sense of confidence, ease of setup, aiming, and high maneuverability tailored to each club number. The design has been given more consideration to each club number.
■The thick triangular section on the back face is positioned closer to the center than in the previous model.
The back face design follows the basic design of the previous model, but the shape has been refined. To pursue a better feel, the thicker section behind the center has been concentrated in the middle. The feel is more solid when impacting the lower center.
■ Tri-level sole design for a more defined style
The comb-shaped design on the leading edge and the chamfered edge on the trailing edge are inherited from the previous model, but the new model further clarifies the edge definition, resulting in a sharper look.
