The HYDRO SPIN FACE is a first for the series, featuring laser-etched processing technology. Compared to previous technologies, the grooves on the face are deeper. The deeper grooves allow moisture and grass to escape between the face and the ball, improving durability and delivering stable, high spin performance. Furthermore, the synergistic effect of the RAW Face Technology, which features grooves that are left as they are without plating, ensures excellent performance even in wet conditions.
■ Improved face shape and finish
The Hydro Spin Face is a first for the series, featuring laser etching technology. Compared to previous technology, the grooves on the face have been dug deeper. The deeper grooves allow moisture and grass to escape between the face and the ball, improving durability and delivering stable, high spin performance. The new finish, Tour QPQ Black, is also used. The durable QPQ coating technology minimizes color fading, giving the club a more polished overall look.

The Milled Grind Sole is synonymous with the series. TaylorMade's renowned CNC precision machining allows for precision manufacturing that is difficult to replicate by hand, resulting in a consistent sole shape. Every wedge delivers excellent release and consistent performance. Furthermore, the flange thickness has been increased compared to previous models, resulting in a milder feel and sound, making it easier to imagine the ball resting on the face, and improving maneuverability. The thickness of the toe area has also been optimized for each club, delivering the performance needed for each club.

Equipped with non-plated, machined grooves, the club offers a soft feel and produces a stable, high amount of spin, delivering excellent performance even in wet conditions.
