The "FRZ" sets even higher standards for face flatness and groove precision, utilizing cutting-edge technology and rigorous management at our manufacturing plants, as well as rigorous in-house inspections, ensuring that only "perfect grooves" are shipped. We deliver the highest level of spin performance to golfers with the finest groove quality. ■New laser milling technology delivers maximum and stable high spin. High spin requires increased friction between the face and ball at impact, and a key factor in achieving this is the precision of the face's flatness. Since the MT-28, Fourteen has consistently maintained precision in all of its spin wedges. The score lines are designed to maximize the edge, shape, and area required by the rules, resulting in a shape effective for high spin. It is precisely this exceptional precision of flatness that allows us to achieve the best possible grooves. The FRZ also adds laser milling between the score lines. The fine grooves, detailed throughout, provide a drainage effect that minimizes the loss of spin performance in adverse conditions around the green, such as wet, rough, or sandy conditions. ■The Milled Tapered Blade features a new, thicker shape designed for high spin. The FRZ's center of gravity is intentionally positioned away from the actual impact point. One purpose is to increase head maneuverability by positioning the center of gravity on the heel, allowing for a variety of player-directed techniques. The other is to enhance aggressive spin performance. By shifting the center of gravity away from the actual impact area, you can impart spin energy to the ball according to your technique. The toe side of the tapered blade is precisely CNC milled to achieve the desired center of gravity closer to the heel. Fourteen has never made an iron easier to use. ■The target player is a golfer with Driver head/swing speed of less than 40 m/sec. The new "PC-3" is a composite forged iron that perfectly achieves the high trajectory that is the key to ease of use, while also combining a moderately sharp and beautiful shape that feels easy to set up. These irons meet the aesthetics of the playing style established by long-time veteran players. ■Elite D Steel is used in the face for the first time. #5 through #7 clubs feature the new, ultra-high-strength "Elite D Steel" face material. The thinnest face thickness in Fourteen history, at 1.75 mm, enables even higher trajectories with high initial velocities. #8 through PW clubs use 2.0 mm high-strength nickel-chrome-molybdenum steel. It combines high repulsion performance with a mild feel. ■The benefits of the face's repulsion performance. Higher initial ball velocity directly translates into a longer trajectory. Even at lower head speeds, the club maintains the trajectory drop angle necessary to land on the green. ■Optimal score line design clearly defines the role of each club. #5 through #7 clubs feature shallower score lines to optimize resilience and enable higher trajectories. #8 through PW clubs maintain resilience while featuring deeper score lines to reduce flyering in the rough or on rainy days, ensuring consistent spin and the desired distance. ■Strongly repulsive head with a mild feel and impact sound. To overcome the excessively loud and hard impact sound of the pocket cavity design, which pursues higher initial ball velocity, a vibration-absorbing elastomer is injected into the bottom. This provides a pleasant, repulsive, and mild feel and impact sound. ■Center-of-gravity design aligns the actual impact point with the sweet spot. By utilizing the maximum amount of excess weight in the forged body, high-density tungsten is placed on the toe side to move the center of gravity closer to the center of the face.
