A new savior for the green has been added to the Odyssey lineup. The ODYSSEY CHIPPER is the successor to the X-ACT, released in 2021. This highly versatile club allows players to achieve stunning approach shots with a simple putting-like stroke. As the name change suggests, this club has undergone more than just a simple redesign; it has also undergone numerous improvements. The face and neck shape are reminiscent of a utility club, improving setup and image. The newly adopted step sole design, similar to the fairway woods in the ELYTE series, significantly improves tolerance for errors. The 37-degree loft head features a soft-feeling polymer insert. The lineup includes two models: a 34.5-inch men's model and a 33.5-inch ODYSSEY CHIPPER women's model.

■ Changed neck shape like a utility
The ODYSSEY CHIPPER is the successor to the X-ACT model released in 2021, and has evolved in many ways. First of all, the biggest change in appearance is the neck shape. In the previous model, the neck was connected to the head at an angle, like the short slant neck of a putter, but in the ODYSSEY CHIPPER, it is connected to the head in a straight line, like a utility. This neck is easier to address and makes it easier to visualize the trajectory and distance.

The shape of the face has also changed. When viewed from the face side, the top line and leading edge of the previous model were parallel, but this time, like a utility club, the toe side of the top line is higher. This naturally increases the area of the face, making it easier to hit the ball.

The ODYSSEY CHIPPER has a club length of 34.5 inches, and the ODYSSEY CHIPPER Women's is also available in a 33.5-inch length for female golfers. Both models have a loft setting of 37 degrees. A soft-feeling polymer insert is fitted to the face, creating a comfortable feel that makes it easy to control the distance. The flange at the rear of the head features three white alignment lines, making it easier to set up square to the target.
