PING
In 1959, Karsten Solheim, an engineer who founded the company, started making clubs in his garage.
He was particularly devoted to making putters, something he had difficulty with, and he created the acclaimed "1-A" putter, and soon the clubs he produced one after another became popular among professional players.
In 1967, the company was founded as the current parent company, KARSTEN MANUFACTURING CORPORATION.
With the same commitment to manufacturing that has remained unchanged since its founding as a club manufacturer, PING continues to bring the joy of golf to golfers around the world.
